Former Bank of America Executives are Latest to Join Growing Enterprise Software Company
AUSTIN, Texas - March 9, 2015 - AgileCraft, the innovative provider of software for scaling agile to the enterprise, today announced that Jim Kelly, former chief information officer of Bank of America and Tim Arnoult, former president of global technology and operations for Bank of America have been appointed to the company's board of directors.
"We are honored that Jim and Tim are joining our board," said Steve Elliott, founder and chief executive officer of AgileCraft. "Their expertise leading business operations and managing technology and software development at one of the world's largest financial institutions is invaluable."
Arnoult brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services and information technology. As a member of the executive management team at Bank of America, Arnoult was responsible for overseeing technology and operating services across the company. Prior to his retirement in 2006, he had also served as president of central U.S. consumer and commercial banking and president of private banking where he played an integral role in the complex mergers of Bank of America with NationsBank in 1998 and Fleet Boston in 2004. Arnoult served on the board of Visa prior to it becoming a public company and currently sits on the boards of two public companies, Cardtronics, Inc. and Stellus Capital and Investment Management.
"I'm excited to be joining a team that is fundamentally changing how companies build software," said Arnoult. "AgileCraft has built a powerful solution that for the first time demystifies the software development process for CEOs, CFOs and CTOs - the ones ultimately accountable for delivering the business results enabled by technology investments."
Prior to retiring in July 2014, Jim Kelly was the corporate strategy executive for Bank of America, responsible for a transformation program called New BAC that reviewed all areas of the company for efficient and effective alignment to the company's customer centric strategy. Jim spent the majority of his 27-year career in various technology and software development management roles, including four years as the chief information officer for the global banking, capital markets, and wealth management businesses.
"Before the AgileCraft team even considered raising investment capital, they had built a fully mature product that was production proven and scalable to the largest enterprise environments," said Kelly. "To me, that is the smartest and quickest way to build a successful company in today's environment. I look forward to working with the AgileCraft board and management team on its mission to help progressive companies all over the world achieve and sustain competitive advantage by unleashing their ability to plan, build, and deliver great software."
